I am located in northern california (Sacramento) and i'm in need of better filtration, skimmer, reactors, ect but don't have too much money. If anyone has some extra equipment, salt, water testing stuff, I would be glad to buy it if it doesn't cost too much. Thank you

Not a good start to this hobby if you can not afford salt. Good Luck

Your best bet will be craigslist. You can find people tearing down their systems and are parting out or selling as a whole. Good luck

Definitely agree with comment. Advice: I would take your time and evaluate, research what size and what you will need to setup a saltwater aquarium. Taking into what the cost for a complete setup. There's is no short corners! If your looking for free, this is not the hobby for you. Members and hobbyists who invest time in researching, reading books, google search, and mainly taking advantage of the knowledge base here on this forum. Those are the hobbyists that have a true passion for this hobby, and will dedicate more time to keep there aquarium stable, clean and healthy. If you piece your aquarium for free, I truly think you will not take this hobby too serious. FYI marine fish, corals, and inverts are rare, and not cheap! Don't kill them all because you want to have a tank in your home.
