I'm getting beat on from all angles. Possible skin flukes in my QT and now I believe Bryopsis in my DT fuge. This was all I saw. I have already ordered Fluconazole. Just looking for confirmation that it is Bryopsis because it doesn't look EXACTLY like others I have seen but definitely fits the form. It had to have rode in on a copepod. lol Or more likely my cheap chaeto and gracilaria.

The big piece was attached to the glass. There was a small piece on the rock, just out of frame here.

I plucked it out for a better picture. Wet and dry below

Update for anyone interested. Reef Flux (Fluconazole) wiped it out. I cant find any traces of it now. My gracilaria, chaeto remnants and all other hermit/snail food growing appears to be unaffected. If anything else dies off I'll be sure to update.

I caught this very early so I'm sure that's why it died off so quick and didn't cause any nutrient spikes.

Glad you got it taken care of. Reef Flux is wonderful to keep on hand for issues just like this.

Further update. Still no Bryopsis and my Gracilaria survived the treatment. I'm still removing more for export than my Foxface can eat.

How is this with sps in the tank?

I don’t have any coral in this tank yet so I couldn’t say. However, Dave did a couple videos on YouTube and he has SPS in his tanks.
