I am looking for a coral that will do well in low flow and low light. I want to put something in my "cave". I was thinking of a red chili coral, but not sure if my flow is strong enough. I don't have any power heads, but I do have a wave maker.

My tank is a 12 gal JBJ with LEDs.

be aware that even experts have a hard time with chili's. I won't waste my money on one.

And that's why I love this place. Everything I read on chilis said they were easy. Anything you would suggest for low light, low flow?

Most NPS prefer higher flow, they're filter feeders and need to be fed multiple times a day. Though you might be able to support fathead dendro they like meaty foods, and I've seen them in lower flow tanks.

:) I have no Idea how I became an expert. My chili coral is fine. I am not an expert. it is not easy though .Its NPS requires med to low. But it does require a lot of filter food. Keeping the nutrients down in that is kinda tough though.
Maybe look into some of the LPS corals.
BTW I wound up putting a nano head in my 28g JBJ behind the rocks worked well with wavemaker.
