The par map for the top area of my tank on both islands is between 140-180 par with a couple of spots hitting 200. Running ATI 4 bulb with c+, b+ and actinic. I don’t think I’ve got enough power for sps and my current track record suggests the same. I tried some “easy” sps from WWC in a grab box with little to no success.
My deceased include 2 Monti caps, 3 birds nest, valida, garf bonsai looking rough(top right), Monti Digitata from UC struggling, birds nest weak and about four other sticks from WWC that withered and passed.
Surviving is one Pocilloporidae and one green slimer acro.
So without upgrading lighting to hybrid or 6 bulb fixture I’m thinking I’m going to stay all lps and softies....for now.
Looking for some higher light LPS that will acclimate and thrive at 160-180. Most I have now are doing great in 100-130.

Hmmm, no expert here but in my experience I usually keep hammers and such higher in my tanks. Might work and they are fantastic when fully extended on top
