I have a 45g cube, 24x24x18, and I need to buy a sump for it. The custum acrylic sumps are great but just too pricy for me. Currently the best option I've found is the trigger systems CRYS18C. I like the lay out of it and it's priced less then most other acrylic sumps I've come across. The problem with this one is that I'll be running a ghost style overflow and will therefore have 3 drain pipes coming down and this sump only allows for one. Another option I've considered is linking 2 10g tanks with a few uniseals and some pipe. This would allow me to make a sump much cheaper than I can buy one for and I'll end up with more features than I could afford otherwise but I'm worried that I'll end up breaking the tank trying to link them together. If any one has any ideas or suggestions please let me know, thanks.

trigger ruby18 or royalexclusiv cube sump.i have a cube im about to build aswell 24'' x 24'' x12 and im going with the ruby18.i think the price is high or maybe there high im not sure but it's the only sump i have found that works with what i want to do.

I think the ruby 18 is the same as the one I'm looking at. I'd just hate to have to modify a brand new sump. The royalexclusive sumps are awesome but leaps and bounds outside my budget.
