Looking into doing a custom acrylic drop-off build (48"x 24"x 33"). Anyone have suggestions on who to contact for quotes? I'm located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Research lol but i understand.I would prefer not to have 120 gallons of water on my floor.
These guys can make whatever you want.

Do you have any pics of the tank? These guys do great work. Did a custom tank / sump for me a few years ago their shop is attached to my LFS. I remember looking into the shop one time he was building a tank for freshwater rays, looked like a swimming pool!

Do you still have the tank that he made you? I've been to their website almost everyday for the last few weeks lol wanting to pull the trigger on another tank.I wish I did. I've never seen anything like it. Since then he's picked up some new equipment and can do some pretty impressive stuff. The all in ones and drop off tanks he's doing are very high quality. @ArtFully Acrylic should have some recent examples of his work.
He's going to do my 60 cube and stand he just doesn't know it yet![]()

So you prefer acrylic over glass? His work looks amazing. I haven't seen any in person, just on his website. I'm looking for a good quality tank that will last me a long time. But worried about scratches also. I may just be paranoid but I haven't owned one yet so I don't know for sure.I do but it's what I'd call 'classic' at this point. He built it about 2 years ago now and he's building much nicer stuff. I wouldn't say it's representative of what he's doing now. It's 36x16x12 and was built to fit a file cabinet in my office. He built the small sump for it as well. It has an external overflow box built in on the left side which was great since I couldn't access the back. My wife hates the hobby but she was so impressed by his drop off tank she want's him to build us a tank for a nook in the basement along with the stand and hood. If you saw any videos from MACNA in DC last year he had the tank with the box for the kids to pop their heads into the tank. He has it in the shop now and my kids love it.
He really takes the time to go through exactly what you want and will make recommendations etc. He's also starting to make sumps with adjustable baffles and such. I've seen one in the shop about a month ago they look very slick.
If I was doing a dropoff I would choose artfully acrylic also. Good choice!Sounds like we have a winner! I have heard and seen a lot of nice things about their tanks.

Maybe I will get a hold of Adam tomorrow and discuss a few things.I scratched mine once when sand (a small shell actually) got stuck in a mag float. There are some hair line scratches but I think those came from when I moved from my old office and took the tank with me. You wouldn't know they were there unless you were inches from the "glass". I don't use magnets any more I clean by hand every Friday and have no problems. I went acrylic primarily because I couldn't risk a burst seam or anything like that. In the office or at home I want a molecular bond between tens of gallons of salt water and my floor. The clarity is a nice plus the acrylic is the same color as the water. You can't even tell its there.
Adam will treat you right if you decide acrylic is right for you.
This is what I was thinking. There Reefcrest line look pretty sweet! I just want a larger version. If I was doing a dropoff I would choose artfully acrylic also. Good choice!
