Please let me know if anyone in the area is selling some. I'd like to keep it in Madison or Huntsville. I would also like to stay away from The Aquarium Shop.

Thanks!

But I also have some that I will sell you cheap. If you don't want to get that much. I have probably 20-30 lbs you can have for $2/lb.

Vulcan products sells "surge rock" for $20 per ton. But they don't let us small people in. LOL

Perhaps you could find some supplier who bought a few tons and "swipe" a few hundred pounds.

$2 per pound sounds great. I'm looking for medium pieces, interestingly shaped pieces & pieces with a lot of texture. Feel free to post some pictures of what you have! : )

I could just buy a ton & all of us in NARC would be set for life!

i second marco rocks, they usually run about 2 bucks a pound shipped. i used them in my tank and love the way they look. the holes make them easy to piece together as well

Recommend Bulkreefsupply and their Reef saver rock, very porous and easy to stack. If you look in my build thread it's what I will be using in my 55. It is very clean too so you do not need to do any precautionary things to it. I ordered 40 pounds worth and they gave me 47. Very happy with it.

I'll get some pictures up in a bit. But they are medium to small sized rocks. Still in the box they were shipped in ;) I just never got around to putting another tank together....

Thanks, everyone, for your recommendations! As I said, though, I am looking to purchase within Madison & Huntsville (so I can see the exact pieces I am buying). I've just ordered a little bit from Bulk Reef Supply, though! I'm super excited to see how it turns out. I'm really excited!

Anyone who is wanting to sell me some, please post some pictures so I can get a good look at them, along with how much you want for each piece. : ) Thanks, everyone!

Marcorocks is great stuff plus one on that..its all I have in my tank...very easy to aquascape with as it is so bumpy it catches everywhere and its some of the most porous rock I've seen
