I have decided to get a CalRX now due to the uptake of my tank is starting to become heavier.
But i am having trouble deciding on which one to get, the ones i have in mind are the Dastaco, deltec twin and the pacific sun one due to it being pretty much automatic. I like the idea of those such as the Dastaco where you just need to turn a knob to adjust the alkalinity. Pretty much simplicity.

Thank you!

Dastaco Xtrema is the ron popeil set it and forget of calcium reactors w/o a doubt!

One problem for me is i dont live in North America, so i cant order from unique corals, but i found a different supplier but they dont have the Dastaco media, its it ok to use different brands with it?

I'd email unique corals or dastaco for a 100% concrete answer on that...

from my understanding of the setup directions that come with the dastacos in the 1st few steps we are essentially programming the controller to run the reactor at 6.0 for their medium which dissolves lower than most other brands do I believe.. so I think its just a matter of the initial setup up and dialing in the amount of co2 being introduced to the system.
