so im looking to add sps to my reef bowl. levels are stable, everything is doing great so ready for the next challenging coral.

this is what it needs to be.
  1. plating coral like monti cap/chalice
  2. moderate to high light*
  3. moderate flow*
  4. colorful
  5. preferably a peaceful coral
  6. it doesn't have to be the easiest but my light cannot support things like acros without burning the rest of the coral so take that into account.

*these are the only true requirements. due to my setup I cannot achieve high flow and my tank is more moderate light but I can place the frag closer to the light to give it closer to high light.

ive kept digitata, couple different chalices and green slimmer in the past but that's all the sps experience ive got. while I was able to keep them all successfully before I traded them, they were in a normal tank setup not a fish bowl.

so whats your suggestions?

Out of all the montis they tolerate all different types a flow too, any plateing montis youll have to be fraggging alot alot in that tank lol itll grow over everything and out of that reef bowl

im good with fragging. not like its difficult to frag a monti... most people do it on accident lol but as I fill this tank im expecting to frag about once a month maybe every other month depending on how full it gets.
