Looking for flow recommendations 150 mixed

I have a 150g tank with an mp40 on the left and a second mp40 on the right, positioned about midway up

should I try to great a gyre with this or do something different? for now, I'm primarily using reefcrest

I would put the two mp40’s on back wall and add a gyre on left and right side.

There are so many gyres out there. Can I buy 1 and then add a second later or will only one be a waste of time?

I’m going to be purchasing the icecap since you can buy one with the controller and add just the gyre down the road if needed.

Highly recommend the Icecap gyres. I have one on each end of my 150 (48L 24W 30D) and run the 2K pumps at 60%. Any more than that and the (medium coarse) substrate starts blowing around. I started with a single pump and added the second later.

I ordered a 4k icecap gyre from amazon. The controller looks used, very odd.

I have the gyre (only 1) on the right side near the surface. Where should I put the mp40s?

You can add the mp40s on the back wall, just like someone mentioned it earlier.

The gyre is great, but I'm having intermittent issues using the voltage input to trigger feed mode. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

My less than a month old mp40 had an issue with the ceramic on the wetside. Ecotech is doing an RMA, but this will likely take a week or two.
