Looking for Goby suggestions.

I am considering adding a goby to my 90 gallon reef tank. The tank is an SPS reef, with a moderate amount of liverock. I would like one that is a sand sifting feeder type, and a non-jumper if possible.

Here is a recent full tank shot:

Please include pictures if you can, and an approximate price. I do have a few fish in there now:

Purple Tang, about 3"
Coral Beauty also 3"
2 Green Chromis
2 A. Ocellaris, 3" and 2" respectively
Purple and Yellow psuedochromis, I think it is a BiColor, here is an image:

This fish is the most aggressive in my tank!
Oh, and a single Bangaii Cardinal, that leaves everyone alone.

So, what would you suggest?

the only sand sifter i have experience with is the diamond back (white with orange diamonds) and it was a great fish.

gets pretty darn big though, and will burry anything on the sand bed.

Yellow watchmen can be pretty cool. I have had one jump, but several others not. They can pair up with pistol's, too. For less seldom seen, a Yase Hasha with randall's is a nice choice. I was able to trick ours into building a cave in the front corner (had a mini cave started with shells, etc., before putting the shrimp and goby in).

I just got my diamond yesterday and hes allready cleaned my entire tank! So what if its only 29g lol.. I paid 30.00 for it

hes kinda messy tho. Got sand over some corals but lik i said got him to clean the sand and he does so cant complain!

If I were you, I wouldn't get a sand sifter. It looks like you have a bunch of corals low or on the sand. A sand sifter will just dump sand all over them. I have experience with three gobies. My bullet gobies would take sand to the top of the tank and sprinkle it over everything. My Hector's goby will drop sand on my coral frags that are on the bottom. But I don't mind since he's so little. I love my orange diamond goby. He doesn't take sand up that far, but he created a large mound of sand in front of the rock he sleeps under. The last goby I have is a neon goby. She doesn't sift sand, but will clean the other fish!

yeah, if you don't mind blowing sand off everything every day, get a sleeper (orange diamond back, like pictured)

i LOVE mine! like i said in the other thread, every day he comes out of his burrow under his rock, covers the entrance back up and goes to work. then at night he unburries his burrow, goes in and shuts the door again :haha: VERY cool to watch. i almost regret not getting him a partner when i got him, but i don't know if i've got enough sand for two, the way he sifts! on the days he gets really busy, he can cloud up the tank, though.

gets along with everybody in my tank, also. the blenny was watching him (lm blenny), and must have been hungry. kind of chased the goby away, and tried sand sifting out for himself for a couple mouthfuls. i had to laugh out loud

He's hard to get a picture of, but I love my Yellow Watchman Goby. It's paired up with a Pistol Shrimp. The goby, itself, doesn't cause too much trouble with sand, but the Pistol Shrimp does have a tendency to bulldoze it some.
