I'm not a fan of any buffering products. Long term the pH of an aquarium will be dictated by CO2 and Alkalinity. If you want to raise your pH I would put a CO2 scrubber on your tanks skimmer air supply. Or, you may be able to run the air line for the skimmer outside.

It works but only for a short time, a few hours. Then you right back to where you were and have to continually dose it. It does raise your Alk contrary to what it states but only by a little. If you intend on using it, it’s fine to use but I’d recommend dosing it about twice daily.

It is just a buffer/alk supplement like any other, but with a smaller pH boost than sodium carbonate alone.
