I have a newly setup 315 gallon display w/ a acrlic sump, and I had my first ICP test results which showed N03 at 20ppm. Iam also using GFO in a media reactor for P04 removal. I have some large fish, they were a transfer over from my previous tank. It looks like my skimmer and refugium with live rock, will not be enough to keep my nutrient levels low enough for my sps corals. That brought me to maybe purchasing a CW-300 turf algae scrubber, I like the idea that the lighting would be isolated to just the scrubber, plus I could somewhat control the export of these nutrients.

The more coral you add the more your system will consume No3 and Po4. It's about finding a balance. Once that 315 is full of corals BOOM you will be dosing just to keep up with consumption.

I have the same problem in my 500 gallon display and was thinking of adding this exact same scubber to my system.
