Looking for input

Hi, I'm new here and I'm hoping to have a great experience! I'm looking to replace my current lights that are a Maspect Razor on my 65 gal reef . Problem is where the power cord enters its getting so hot the plastic is melting . I have mostly Sps . Would much apppreciate any input .

I would say the would be a phone call to the manufacturer for replacement.

Welcome to R2R! As mentioned, I would call the manufacturer about this. It's NOT normal to have this going on. Sounds like the power is out of whack!

Thank you , the lights are about 4 years old so I really think maybe it's there time ? I don't know that's why I'm here , there are certainly a lot of people more versed than I . Been doing this a long time but I'm a bit old school . I would really like to learn about some of the new technology.

If you have the budget, Radions are pretty awesome. There are allot of good deals with the G.4s out. I love the controllability. I have mine setup on my Neptune WXM and I like the ability to change things on the fly with my phone. I'm also going to setup a tablet on my cabinet to have a large screen to evaluate the graphs.

They are one that I was considering, it's just you can read yourself crazy with companies saying there's are the best. This is why I am asking for opinions from people on what works for them .
