Looking for interior overflow box

Anyone know of a source for either stock or custom interior overflow boxes? I need one about 20 1/4" tall.

Do you mean interior overflow boxes like the ones that come on a factory reef ready tank? The ones the go all the way from the bottom of the tank to the top?

Yes, I am getting an acrylic tank and plan to have it drilled in the bottom.

Best bet would be to have the company making the tank put it on for you. Otherwise I would an acrylic shop cut out the necessary pieces and you could just put it together. It should be quite easy.

You could also speak to your lfs and I'm sure they have someone that works in acrylic and can make one for you. Should be quite cheap. Good luck

making one yourself is quite simple. you can get a sheet of acrylic and cut 3 pieces then just silicone them together. acrylic cuts real easy with a circular saw with a fine tooth blade turned backwards.

I was originally going to make one, but by the time I had gathered a sheet of acrylic, a knife to cut it, and the glue to stick it together along with the tax mans part of the deal it had bypassed $60. I ended up taking the stuff back and buying one from BRS for $60, which now I don't need so have for sale (PM me if you're interested)

My local LFS just charged me $91 for a top to bottom overflow with 'castle tops' (or turrets), so from my experience, they generally aren't cheap.
