We just bought a townhouse and we are adding a 250dd to an area right under the peak of the vaulted ceiling. I don't want to go all the way to the ceiling if I can help it.

I can either come out from the wall but it will have to stick out near 4ft to hit the center line of the tank. We are going to move the tank approximately 2ft off the wall so I can walk behind it to work on it and view. I have seen painted conduit which would probably be fine but I am looking for something that might turn out a little nicer and possibly resist salt better.

Any ideas and photos would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Robert

The tank will be open top with no canopy. I will be running 2 reefledlights.com fixtures approximately 18 inches above the water.

not a very good pic, but I bought a small photo background stand off of e-bay for about 40.00. removed the legs and secured the legs to the sides of the tank. hung the lights to the cross bar. takes just seconds to raise or lower the lights.

i think hanging is the best way to go it give it that elegant look and will only take alittle plaster and 2 minutes painting to fix
