Looking for light recommendations

I would recommend both reefi and hydra 32. Middle of the price ranges and have mounting bracket options. If you want to spend a little less then look at Noopsyche

Odyssea 4-bulb t5ho. Around $110 new from Ebay. Comes with two actinic bulbs (and two 10ks, meh). I swapped one actinic out and now run one actinic, 2 blue plus and one coral plus (Which I had a stockpile of). You’ll need to add a basic light timer. Total cost should be under $200 for one of the best lighting options for a 55g hands down. This is on my newly built 50g.

I would go 150 as you can always run at one of the 5 lower intensities. Either will work. You can hear the fans.

Can I ask what timer you use?

This exact one. I use another single outlet version of this timer to control the moonlight leds on their own schedule.

Just any on/off timer, no ramping, no special effects, just consistent light in the correct spectrum all we need for photosynthesis.
