Looking for macroalgae tank inspiration!

I’ve been slowly buying macroalgae and sponges for my lobster tank. And I would love to eventually turn it into something like this. Please post your tanks and tell me what sponges, gorgorians, macroalgae, and lighting/flow you have. This will be in a small 6 gallon nano tank and I saw the second photo was reef of the month last year.

Thanks. There’s so many macroalgaes out there. The problem is sourcing them. I know some are seasonal and I may have to buy them online but I don’t like having to pay for shipping and not seeing the condition they are in. I’m waiting for my lfs to get back to me. I have a little list.

I was looking at purple fauchea, pinecone algae, merman’s shaving brush, red bush gracilaria, caulerpa prolifera, sea grass. And I have someone who is going to send me some dragons breath algae. Any other suggestions welcome. I realized I need less red lol. And the macroalgae should need low flow and high light.

My 56g display has red tree sponges, yellow ball sponge, purple photosynthetic sponge and some natural white sponges that came on the rock.
My tank has corky finger gorg, purple ribbon gorg, yellow and purple whip gorg.
I love macro algae and it has gracilaria, codium, lobophora, caulerpa cupressoides, opuntia and fine Coraline.
My light fixture is a ReefBreeder Photon v24. Flow is from the return in the basement sump and from tunze power head for about 20Xs turnover.

I also got my macro algae from Gulf coast ecosystem multiple times and they are nice. The different macros are seasonal so if you are patient and keep checking, usually what you want becomes available.

I concur that https://www.live-plants.com/ is awesome. If you check regularly you can find a lot in stock sometimes. The specimens are large, gorgonians are typically at least 6” and you get a pint or quart of macro algae for most species. Most other shops give you a golf ball size or less. Shipping is expensive, but the prices are dirt cheap, so it kind of evens out. Here are some pics of some livestock from there. Looks like they currently have 6 different gorgonians and 4 different sponges in stock . The red sampler macro is great. It’s a ton of at least 3 different red macros. More than enough for any nano tank. Looks like most green macros are out, but those are way easier to find.
