Sorry Im still new to doing research on the differences in these but can I make one of them into a chaeto reactor?

Yes you can run it as chaetos reactor and i actually used one of them for chaetos reactor setup in the past with this growth light it has 2 different color mode i bought from Best Fish store recommended.
