not really cheap but you can try to find a used orphek 156w...i've been running one on my 36x15x30 for about 7 months now!!! and everything is doing great!!!

From what i have read AI SOLs are good for a deepe tank because the lenses have a narrow focus.

Very Nice Tank and Quality Light.

If your on a budget and want the best, DIY is an option, especially if the Light is mounted inside a hood.

My recommendation would be two 250watt MHs or the LED equivalent like 90 Cree X Series LEDs w Optics.

Have you considered DIY?
