Out of the Echidna genus, the chainlink and snowflake are the most commonly owned. I'm looking for others that have/had 1 of the other 9 to share their experience.

Here are the other 9:
Amblyodon, Delicatula, Leucotaenia, Nocturna, Peli, Polyzona, Unicolor, Xanthapolis, Rhodochilis (freshwater typically).

[HASHTAG]#reefsquad[/HASHTAG] ............. need a lead here!!

Well the "lead" is not me! Not a moray person, so no help from me.

Not a clue. If I remember I can take a look at the supplier lists tomorrow and see if anything like that is available at those places.

*Bump*
I can find very basic info such as location found and estimated size but nothing else. Really curious about these.

Would it help if I listed the common name? Really surprised here as 1 of the above is a Barred Moray and another is the Skeletor Moray.

Xanthospilus - awesome eel, outgoing and stays mellow

Nocturna - needs a temperate tank

Polyzona - tends to be timid and somewhat cryptic

Delicatula - are quite cryptic

Unicolor - multi colored

With the rest being drab and not highly sought after.

The information above came from a response that I got from Mr. Bob Loblaw at Bayou Reefkeeping.

A: I need about 8-9 more tanks lol
1A: A reply to an email I sent out is taking me to someone at the Smithsonian.

These is to those that own snowflakes: all snowflakes start out as females and eventually change to male.

Most eels are born male or female and stay. Ribbons go from male to female. Zebras and dragons can switch depending on what gender is around.
