Looking for quiet skimmer.

Looking for quiet skimmer for my reefer 250.
Tank size 55gal, sump size 11gal.
Wanted to go with Nyos 120, but I'm reading a lot of users are not happy with how it works, and are getting frustrated with setting it up, so I'm looking for other options.
I have a budget of about $500.

I like the sca models. sca-301 would probably work for you. I have the sca-302 and its in my bedroom. with air silencer its very quiet

I am running the NYOS and absolutely love it.....it is super quiet and running flawlessly.

Nyos Quantum 120 is probably one of the best skimmer you can get.

I think I'm gonna skip Nyos, as it's $500 here.

reviving this thread, I use Omega 150 in my 75 gallon tank, I don’t like the way the setup kept changing the water level. looking at Nyos 120 also

running the nyos 160. absolutely love it.

Purchased Simplicity 120, but will probably start up tank in a month or two, so not sure is if will be any quiet.
Pretty decent sale that I couldn't pass on
