Looking for recommendations on a showstopper piece that will go on the circled rock in my 240.
Price not really a consideration.

Gets about 180-200 par but i am adding two blue reef brites which may bump that up a bit.

I have an island, centered in my 180 much like this. That's the torch garden. There's a Lot you can do there with alternating color.
I'm still rebuilding after a bjd decimation.

Negative Missouri. Weak selection. do most of my buying online. Torch garden isnt a bad idea.

I would do a space invader pectinia and let it grow huge. Easily one of the most stunning corals in the hobby when it gets big.

Unique Corals "amazeball's" goniopora. This thing literally looks like it's battery powered it's so bright.

To me thats prime sps territory. I would look for an acro ( color/growth shape that is best for you ) and makensure to have contrasting across around it that make it pop even more.

I think a torch garden is about as boring as you can get, no offense to those that disagree (though I don’t dislike torches, just think they look better as singular specimens). A big green bubble coral, a Goniopora/Alveopora garden, a giant toadstool/weeping willow, symphyllia/lobophyllia. The PAR kind of rules out a lot of the bigger LPS show species like trachys, acanthos, cynarinas, etc.
