Looking for Skimmer - Made in USA

I am setting up a new system in a few months. I am going with the Planet Aquarium 48" 90 gallon Crystaline Tank. The sump has a skimmer chamber that is 8" x 11". I plan to have it fairly heavily stocked.

I am trying to get as much equipment that is made in the USA as possible. So I am looking to see if anyone knows of a good USA built Skimmer that will fit in that chamber. Most of the manufacturers that I know of that are in the USA only offer skimmers that are too big for that chamber.

So I need something that will fit, is made in the USA, and that is still a good skimmer.

Any help would be great.

Hey now. I’m just curious if there are any skimmers made in the USA? I wish we had if we don’t. It’s nice that ecotech is “made in the USA” im not knocking China, Taiwan or Italy Or Germany. I know just because it’s made in the USA doesn’t mean it isn’t made with foreign parts.

I have looked at all the options through that previous thread, and nothing I can find will fit in my sump. Most are external or too large.

I have not spoken to Lifereef, just looked at there standard offerings.

I've used the same lifereef skimmer since 1999. I used it on a 100 gallon, 40 breeder, put in a box and placed on a shelf for over 7 years, recently pulled it out and running it on my 210 gallon upgrade. I'll be using the same skimmer on my next upgrade which will be on or around 300 - 360 gallons.

Best hobby investment I've ever made. It just works.
