Hey everyone I am looking for a reef octopus skimmer typically something rated for 200 gallons. Please let me know what you have! Looking into classic series 200INT, or the space savers bigger ones. just shoot me a pm or message me and let me know what the model is and what its rated for !

How heavy is your bio load? How much coral? Sps? Do u feed a lot? I have a 180dt with about 220g total and I was looking at the reef octopus elite 220 rated for 500g. I think the 200int would be way to small for a 200g. But again that all depends on the questions above and what your trying to achieve

I have a 75 tons of corals, prob about 20 gallons in my sump. Only 4 fish, but I feed regularly. My return is a mag12 so I believe my flow rate is kinda a lot though my sump. The skimmer i have now is rated for 100 so says BRS

Oh I thought u were saying you have 200g. Yeah that would be a good skimmer for a 75g with what u listed.

I think i am going with this one!
Reef Octopus Classic 225INT 8" Internal Protein Skimmer
The Classic 225INT Protein Skimmer by Reef Octopus provides powerful skimming performance in a compact design saving valuable sump space. The Aquatrance 3000s pinwheel pump is housed within the body of the skimmer creating a more compact design.

  • Manufacturer rated for aquariums up to 320 gallons
  • BRS rated for aquariums up to 220
  • In Sump Use Only
  • Full seamless cone body design
  • Control with "easy to turn" output flow valve
  • Quiet operation - oversized air silencer

I have a reef octopus sro3000. It might be a little big for your sump. It was used on a 75 gal and now a 125

I have a SRO2000 with bubble blaster pm if u interested..

Just my $.02, I am VERY confident in BRS' ratings of skimmers. They always rate them WAY lower than the manufacturer! I LOVE the RO with bubble blaster. Shaving cream for foam! I believe the SRO2000 listed above would be a beast of a skimmer on a 75+ sump!
