What’s up R2R I did a test on my system today and came up with some numbers and from what I am told by alkalinity is a bit low otherwise I believe everything is OK I have a 55 gallon tank with a 20 gallon sump in the tank I have 16 seahorses A hawk fish to cardinal fish a yellow crown go be a fire fish goby also long fin tang
My CUC consists of four peppermint shrimp several nas snails 12 blue leg hermit crabs
Also a bunch of coral that is all healthy strong and growing extremely well everything I have put in there has doubled or tripled in size also two nice size bushes of red dragons breath macro
I forgot to mention in the sump I have UV light pump and return a protein skimmer refugee him with approximately 5 ounce ball of cheato here is a picture of the numbers I came up with along with a couple of dates that I Did 20gal WC
Also my phosphates have been high and I did a phosphate treatment and it went from .46 to .39 within the last three days

Hey Paulie. Your alk is low but easy to fix. Ca is low as well. Do you dose? You could even get kalkwasser and put it in ATO to bring up alk and Ca

According to the chart my calcium was almost spot on and I know that the alkalinity is low I am going to get the stuff to Bring those numbers up my biggest battle is my phosphates,, they are at .39 today was .46 four days ago so they’re coming down slowly but surely but I would be happier if it was a little quicker

Also I have the dosages for calcium and magnesium I just need to go get something to dose Alkalinity

400 at minimum. 420-450 is what I aim for. Your alk isn’t that far off. I aim for 8-9. Just bring it up slowly. Don’t overdose it too quickly. 0.5 a day is good.

I just got the stuff for my alkalinity and my phosphates I put my phosphate reducer in first I plan on doing the alkalinity tomorrow first thing Also this is the parameter card I have I am hoping it is correct
