Re the rocks, soak them in regular RODI water for couple of days with some circulation and keep changing water every few days until dirt is out... use lanthanum chloride to get rid of the phosphates, a week-10 days then put it in salt water and let it cure.....for few weeks, again changing water maybe 2-3 times.

Re lights, I’m still not sold on leds 60” is perfect for a ATI 60” 6-8 bulb fixture No shadows, full coverage. You’ll be able to grow sps on the sand too! Just my bias.

Thanks for the responses so far everybody. I’m gonna figure how I want to set the rock up and start the process while I wait very impatiently for the tank.

I just read a post about polymorphic plastic. It looks like a good solution, any experiences?

This is new to me, I'm trying to find some info on these. How often would I have to change the bulbs? In my estuary tank (leds for tank lighting, but not the type needed for corals), I had to change the CFLs in my algae scrubber every three months to keep the lighting correct. Will I need to change these as often?
