So my wife obtained an apex for me it's a used model. She got the apex lite everything is in working order practically new. I set up fusion account an all that read up on it for a few days exc. So my dumb question is that I cant get anything to work I try setting up outlets nothing on both the controller or fusion. I work nite shift so I won't be able to answer right back till I wake. Thank you

Do you "see" all the outlets on the fusion screen? Lots of people can help you get it set up here on R2R. Can you post a shot of your fusion screen?

This is what I got. It'll only let me add outlets on the controller but other than that I'm lost I played with it for 2 days. Watched videos and read almost everything I could. I'm quite computer savvy so I have no clue what's going on.

Click on the lock icon top right corner, you should be able to see the rest of the outlets.

Your temp and PH readings seem low too, are probes in tank/sump?

A good starting point might be to reset the whole unit and to do fusion setup one more time, you are very likely still running the settings from the previous owner.

Yes...all your outlets are "hidden". The little lock symbol icon will show all your outlets in a new window. Use a mouse to drag them down onto the main fusion screen. Then click the lock icon again to keep them where you moved them to.
Now you can click on each outlet and try some experimental programming.
The screenshot helped a lot. If you could send another screenshot after you have dragged your outlets on to the main screen, it will help with the next steps

Check the neptune systems website, they have a pdf file for the manual. They also have a forum for apex unit to get help with programing.

Been there and done that!
Hidden little boogers:)

I have nothing in the lock section except the video slide and another but it's not the outlet. I'll try sliding it again to the left or rite. I did up date it to the newest firmware

No it's not hooked up to the tank yet I was going to today but I can't find the outlets.

I will post a picture of what's in the lock screen in about 5 min. Thank you all for the help also

What power strip are you using. 4 or 8 outlets? If you are not seeing any of the outlets in the top of the unlock screen the apex controller is
Not communicating with the powerstrip. Check your connections. Have you tried rebooting with the powerstrip plugged into the controller?

This is what it shows will not school left or rite

Ok...that is a bit weird. It is not showing your outlets at all. I assume your eb8 or eb4 is plugged into a power outlet, the breaker in the eb8 is not trpiped, and you have a good connection with the cable between the eb8 and the apex "brain"?
Can you try plugging the cable between the apex brain and the eb8 into a different port on the eb8, and then power down, and repower everything back up and see if it finds your outlet bar?

Exactly what I was thinking. Do you have another USB cable you can try.

Yes green light on both eb8 and the brain I will try your idea

Any USB cable seems to work. It's the long ones with a repeating circuit that won't
