Looking for some live rock

My son is setting up a 50g and is looking for some live rock to seed the dry he is ordering from reefrocks.

Sorry man. I just found out about it Thursday. I saw it on someone's build thread here on R2R. It's actually a pretty awesome deal. Buy 30lbs or more of rock and get 40lbs of cleaned sand free. And only $14.95 shipping total for it. I wish I had known about it. To think of all the sand I had to clean. Lol

I was looking at 50lbs of rock shipped free. Had to catch my eyes. I just spent $100 on Macro Rocks for that amount, your place is like $90.

My biggest concern is that I've never cured rock before. He won't have anything in the tank for at least 4 weeks once it goes wet but I'm worried about leaching phosphates.

Leaching from what? That rock? Doubtful. Curing is just like cycling a tank.

Curing rock was really for shipped live rock so the die off didnt raise nutrients in your tank. And you can watch and remove hitchhikers.

Awesome. I'll let him know. Maybe we can make it up there within the next week. He'll be needing 10-25lbs if you can spare that much. I was hoping to get the dry rock before the live rock, but I don't guess it really matters.
