Looking for: Source for Electric PVC Ball Valves 1"

Most people use a soliniod for electric opening and closing. The ball valve will be hard to find.

I use them a lot for spraying turfgrass on golf courses. All the ones I know of areDC tho, check out tee jet valves if interested

Solved. This should work perfectly in my application!

@lapin so I ordered then cancelled my order (the vendor was nice enough to cancel the order, and to send me an explanation of why they're not ideal even though they didn't get a sale)

Hello,

I'm sorry for the slow reply. I have cancelled your order per your request.

Salt water applications can be very problematic for solenoid valves. Majority of solenoid valves are "wet armature" type where there are stainless steel internal parts that will be in contact with salt water. These parts will start corroding over time in salt water and eventually cause problems with the operation of the valve. How quickly this happens is hard to estimate. The worst case could be weeks, the best case could be years. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to estimate this. The solution would be a "dry armature" valve (no metal parts touching the water), but they are usually very expensive and we don't stock any at this time.

Thank you,
