Hi all. I have a 13.5g nano tank. It just isn't big enough for what I want to do but I started small just to get the feel for saltwater (ran freshwater tanks for decades). Now I'm researching bigger tanks (50-100) gal and every manufacturer says theirs is the best. May I please have some comments as to what y'all like most and why? I know I don't want an AIO but I also don't want crazy complicated. Thanks in advance! :D

Honestly in that size range, most manufacturers are pretty solid whether it be Innovative Marine, Red Sea, Waterbox, SCA, Planet Aquariums or Fiji cube. Personally I still give the edge to Innovative Marine. Solid quality, aluminum stands, external overflow, doesn't come with a sump so you can pick and choose your equipment with more flexibility. There 75 or 100G EXT might be a great fit for you depending on what kind of fish you want in it..

And it just so happens they are on sale right now....

IM tanks are nice I have the 25 Nano no rear chamber similar to a EXT I had to add my overflow. the stands are nice, powder-coated, I painted mine white with rubber paint.

I really like SCA 50 Gallon Starfire Glass Aquariums. I wish the overflow was a little less bulky but it seems to work well. The skimmer is not the best but it does what it’s supposed to do. Plumb it your own way instead of the soft tubing it works a lot better. Owned and set up for over two years now. And moved it once, everything is still great on it!
