Looking for the right tank

Hi guys,

Im not new to Marine tanks. I used to have a 500L tank when I lived in Scotland. (I am Scottish). I am living in Houston Tx now and in an apartment so im not looking for anything huge right now.

I am looking for a small (ish) tank maybe 170 - 250litre (44-66gallon) tank.
I like the Red Sea reefer tanks and I would like to be able to build it to my own spec but I don't want to pay a fortune for a tank itself. the reefer is $1000 (170l) and $1350(250L) anyone know something a little cheaper? I do want a sump so that is required. new preferable but I will have a look in the for sale section here I guess

thinking of going for the ecotech light. had the powerheads before and there great. skimmer I will see dependent on the size.

So i went to oceanlife. Very nice. Great guys. Think im keen on the 170 redsea reefer. Looks lovely.

I moved to houston for work. I am a welding engineer in oil and gas. No offence to anyone but im not the greatest fan of everything here. Miss Scotland but the weather is great. In general people are nice n we have a good life here.

Yeah you right! For me especially! I'm living in Los Angeles and weather here is really great! I'm enjoying Sun and the Ocean! Today is very warm day! When you are walking by the ocean you can feel amazing fresh air! It so different for me! Scotland is like magic land.. you can feel centuries there and history! Have you been in Germany?

Work has got me about. Im only 35 btw. Not to old. Lol

Yeah! I was amazed of castles in Germany! And I've seen a lot of museums there! And Berlin very specific )) They have cool trains! I never been in Scotland but I really wanted to see this country.

Yeah of course you miss it! You have been working a lot on it... and 500L it's great tank and then had to leave it.. so sorry..
But I believe that here you will have a great tank man! We are changing our live and then things changing around us!
Here I have 70 g tank my friends helped me so it helps me feel more comfortable here) And yeah it's different but I'm happy when I'm staring at it ))))
