Okay, so as I knew was inevitable when I started getting back into reefing, my dreams of reefing continue to grow to a level of overhead cost that far surpasses any responsible amount of money for someone with 5 kids.
I also love propagating coral.
So the plan is start alittle coral farm.
Starting small with the 48x24x12 that’s already running on my 500g system.
But I need lights. My reef tank runs radions now, but I’m more interested in what the value Reefers and techier guys think.
Obviously, coloration of the corals is going to dictate the value and growth dictates production, so I don’t want to sacrifice color, or growth, but I also don’t want to pay for a name, and Cadillac type features that I don’t need.
Assuming heavy sps and lps, lots of density, what would be the Best option to light my 48x24 tank?

My indulgent self wants an ATI Straton.

Check out MicMols. Not a budget killer.

ReefBreeders Photon V2+

Will grow everything up to acros and by far the most bang for your buck in my opinion.
