hello guys looking to add a sump to my curent setup. (40 breeder) i already have all the equipment from my old 60 cube setup. what would be the esiest way to go about this with out using an over flow box. i could drill the tank but would rather not just so i dont have to take the tank apart. Any suggestions would be greatly apreciated
thanks
richard

By far the safest way is to drill it. If you use an external overflow box, the syphon can break, causing no water to drain from the tank. The return pump will still be running and pump all of the water from the sump into the tank overflowing all over the place.

You will be much happier and feel safer with a drilled overflow.

Or get another 40b. Drill that one and transfer everything. Glass holes 700gph kit.

Slow your roll..
