First off, 180g with no tangs. Mostly soft coral with a few LPS and SPS. I had a yellow eye kole tang for over 2 yrs.any tang would be fine probably would go with a yellow or purple if you can find one at a decent price i just got a couple for 65 bucks a piece real small and if you plan on adding more try to do it around the same time i made that mistake with my yellow eye kole tang he will bullies anything that eats algae until i put a foxface in the tank which he tried to bully and didnt work out for himWhat tangs are easy to keep in a mixed reef?
they have a ton of personality, are all very pretty, and seem to tackle more nuisance algaes than the others I've kept. My recommendation for your tank would be either a tomini or orangeline tang. A chevron tang could be cool, but they are expensive and get pretty big.I visited a new LFS today and they had a very healthy and docile looking yellow tang and I put him on hold. Thanks for the input.
