Awesome, thank you. I will look into it. I just need something to fill a few 5g buckets for me a couple times a week lol.

I've never used one as I only have an apt on a military base. But I think that this could save me quite a bit of change in the long run. Saves me from having to go to my lfs 3 times a week just for friggin water. So my question, what's a good unit thats relatively cheap. I was looking on amazon and found:

Amazon.com : 6 STAGE Aquarium Reef Reverse Osmosis Water RO/DI | 100 GPD MEMBRANE | NSF CERTIFIED | LiquaGen : Pet Supplies

Anyone have any recommendations by chance?
I just bought the aquaticlife buddie and the DI filter on Amazon. It is 50 gallons per hour and everything I have read it gives what you need for the price. I also discovered Aqua Engineering & Equipment inc aquaee.com this weekend and they have a really good product. I would have bought from them, but I did not know about them until I purchased the Aquaticlife. Both to me are great filters but I can let you know in a week about the Aquticlife. Aqua e & e also sell larger filter systems too. Oh I do not work for them just saw there product.

Check out bulkreefsupply.com they have a lot of different choices for what your looking for.

Nothing compares to Spectrapure hands down. No other vendor specially treats all their RO membranes to improve their performance then either batch or individualy hand tests them. On their Select series they even have a written performance guarantee. No other vendor custom blends every ounce of their own DI resins based on thousands of hours of real world and beta testing and very few vendors offer the much better capillary tube flow restrictors and absolute or near absolute filters as they do. 25+ years of research and development in the RO/DI business in the same US city in a brick and mortar building really pays off.

You definitely don't want the Amazon system with its useless granular carbon, coarse sediment filter, unspecified membrane, white housngs and little hollow tubes clipped on top they call DI filters. Compare ito the Spectrapure refurbished and you will see there really is no comparison.

Read their FAQ section or any of their Sponsors Forums on many of the reef foums and you will pick up a lot of good information. There really is a difference.
