I've only seen this one so far, should I get rid of it right now that its in front of the tank while i have the chance? Or should I just leave it alone?Asterina star. Few are ok but can reproduce quickly and become problematic.
I’d leave it but keep an eye if you start to see numbers grow. Then might be time to cull the herd.I've only seen this one so far, should I get rid of it right now that its in front of the tank while i have the chance? Or should I just leave it alone?

Could always throw in a harleqin shrimpI’d leave it but keep an eye if you start to see numbers grow. Then might be time to cull the herd.
I always wanted one of these but never got one due to the fact I have maybe 3 asterinas in my tank but have a yellow serpent star and sand sifting star as well. The yellow serpent lost a leg and a tip of another when my baby dropped something on top of the yellow star catching his leg and ripping it off. I always feared the harlequin would go after the 18 year old star fish. Do they go after bigger starfish especially if they are wounded like that?Could always throw in a harleqin shrimp
