Hoping someone can ID this creature from the deep. It must have snuck in on my live rock.
Looks like a snail with a semi-hard shell that covers 50% of its body. The foot is fairly long and the thing moves pretty quick. It has 2 main antennae and a mouth that was cleaning the rocks. I used forceps to grab it and the head/shell separated from the foot. It has been removed and soaked in hydrogen peroxide to kill it, but I’m hoping someone can ID it.

In case the video didn’t upload, here is a photo of it

One of the best algae eaters in the hobby yet you cant purchase them.

Definitely a Stomatella. I received one as a hitchhiker as well and they're great. They usually only come out at night.

I feel that their slender bodies and shells allow them to get into places most snails can't.

Yeah that was a big oops there dunking the poor thing I wish I had some myself.

I've since found a few more in my tank... and they're spawned hundreds more. My glass is spotless. The babies stay in the sand during the day and crawl up the glass at night en masse

Nice! Also since they spawn into the water coulum they also feed your corals ,btw where did you get your lr I'd like to try to get some critters for my tank.
