Hi everyone,
Not sure what this softie is. It’s been doing great for three months since I got it. Opening up nicely and seems that it made another head. Noticed today that it didn’t look good like it was having a tough time opening. Physically looks like it’s being overpowered by a wave pump but it’s between two rocks where not much flow is. I’ve been traveling a bit for work so this could be a several day thing? Maybe something is picking at it?

I know it’s hard to tell me what is wrong from a picture. Any suggestions or even what is it? Never got the name of it.

Alk - 7.45
Calcium - 520
Nitrates - low. Maybe 2
Salt - 33
Temp - 78.1
PH - 8.17

Dosing aqua forest mag, Alk and calc

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

To me it looks like a duncan coral which is a LPS . Do you have another picture of when it was doing better ?

Looks to be a Duncan coral. LPS.

Could be too much light. Any water pramameter swings you know of?

I’ve got it pretty low in the tank under a radion 15 at 50%. Should I hide it more under a rock?

Thank you all for the help

I'd shade it some if possible or sand bed. Your welcome!
