Oh I know what those are!!! They are good. Have them in my tank. I believe they are called chitons

They are hard right and really stick to the glass?

Yes. They are small species of Chitons

Chiton has really good armor. Remove them from the rock likely will kill them. Wrasse cannot eat them IME. Great grazers. I had them in my system previously and would love to have them again. They reproduce well in captivity.
If I see them in the future I would offer to buy a piece of rock that has several of this Chitons on it.
