Looks like spaghetti???

Hey can someone help identify this. I found it all over my sump in about a weeks timeframe.

Don’t eat that, it’s not spaghetti!

Those are tiny tube worms, if the tubes are hard they can puncture a hole in your hand, and they sometimes multiply into plague numbers quickly.

So how do I get rid of them and are they bad for the tank?
 
They are not "bad" as much as potentially irritating if you get a puncture wound from one. I let them grow in my sump, if I wanted to get rid of them I would scrape them out with a credit card or similar tool. I kind of like them for diversity but they make me curse when I get jabbed moving around in the tank. Not a serious threat but more of a pain ime.

Ok gotcha I’ll figure it out but to me they are ugly haha. I want them out
