Any of you sps Hawks out there growing a looney toons stylo? It looks awesome, but I can only find ine picture of it. If you have it, please share some pics!

The looney tunes is a Stylocoeniella, not stylopora
Jason fox had it on his live sales. Maybe shoot him a pm. It's a very expensive piece so don't have a heart attack.

If you're calling that a Stylocoeniella, then is this a cyphastrea or stylocoeniella? We've had customers call this the Loony Toons Stylo. :/

This bottom frag is what we consider stylocoeniella. The polyps are slightly longer and...."fluffier". They don't really retreat into a large coralite. I also feel like the polyps on stylocoeniella are much smaller than cyphastrea.

Top picture is a stylo, stylos' coralites are flush with the rest of the skeleton from what I've seen. Your first picture california reef co. is a cyphastrea b/c it's coralites are raised the second is a stylo

top picture as in the looney toons, as far as I can tell is a stylo doesn't have the long polyp extension like some of the others i have seen but it is not a cyphastrea

I wonder how close it looks to the wwc bizarro cyphastria in person. I have only seen a pic of this one as well.

I've personally seen the looney tunes in 3 separate tanks. WWC specifically and it is much smaller and unique with the polyp size in correlation to the bizzaro. This is a piece that's opposite of the growing trend where some pieces look great as frags and as they grow out become dull and blah. Well this piece is amazing as a frag and gets better as the colony starts to take shape. When they say every color in the rainbow on that piece it is no joke.
I just can't wait to get a piece.

Is the looney toons a slow grower? I can hardly find any thing on this piece when I googled it, which might explain the price and why no one seems to have it.

yeah it is a slow grower from what I hear. I'll be interested to see a colony since I've only seen the frag size pictures online. Is WWC's mother the top picture??

Yeah, I have no idea. I would love to see the colony shot.
