Loose zoa

Hey everyone, I have a mat of around 6-7 Rasta Zoas that my mother gave me. It wasn’t attached to any LR or plug. Currently I wedged in a rock with my other Zoas. My question is will it attach by itself? I just put in around 7:20 pm and it’s already starting to open and it’s not getting blown around.

You could try using something like a mesh frag basket with LR as the floor and let it hang out in there until it attaches to something.

Did your zoas attach? I have a loose mat too.

They did end up attaching. But I applied a very very small glob of glue to a small piece of rubble, wetted it with some water then set the zoa mat down on it with very little pressure. I then glued the rock to a piece of LR and within the week it had completely attached to the rubble and started growing into the live rock.
