I come home every night from work and see my tank has drips rolling down the sides of the tank. They are usually dry and you can see the dried salt on the side of the tank. My salt levels are still pretty good. But in the long run I’m wondering if I will need to add salt to the tank to keep it at good level. I have had this tank for 3 months. I’m extremely new to the hobby. Meaning this is my first tank in my life. At some point I guessing the salt levels with drop from my issue. Do you add salt directly to the tank? I don’t think my tank was is filled to high to my belief. I’m a noob I just want some help. It rolls off my tank lid.

Where are the drips coming from? It is very possible it is a leak. Further put pictures would help. Also, if a powerhead is causing enough surface agitation, you may be slowly splashing without even knowing it

Edit. Tank lid? Condensation? Try repositioning the lid

It’s coming from the clips that hold the lid. It’s a Nuvo 20

Heres those stupid clips again....lots of people have this issue.
Will need to lower water level so it doesnt hit those clips. Or find another way to attach the cover.

Hmm I’d change water heights to stop it. But salt creep creates very minimal salt loss. It’s recommended you monitor salinity of your tank anyway but it wouldn’t be an issue for a long time.
