Loosing zoas..... help?

You said one of the things you changed was the light. Did ypu use a par meter to set intensity? I ask because my zoas like less light then the rest of my coral. I had issues with them until I moved them off to the side where they are only getting from 70 to 90 par.

Actually this issue started before the light change. Under a 15watt Kessil A80.
 
Looks like cyano to me or maybe a flow issue. They are extended pretty far. Your nitrates from what you said are not excessive.

Yea. They were in a lower portion of the tank were there was a bit lower flow so that’s pretty probably what happened. Oh well, live and learn right?
