Losing A fish a day...

@DJ Monty how is your tank doing today? Any updates?

Sorry I didn't post last night but I was beat. Other than my regular tank maintenance I spent a chunk of the day out shopping for QT tanks & meds. Bought 3 10 gallon with all the bits to go with them. Once home of course they had to be cleaned & set up, it's amazing how long that can take. I'm thankful I have the time to do all this.
As for the fish that were left, I lost another clown yesterday morning. They always seem to die at the same time everyday so yesterday I just sat & watched for an hour. The clown went from swimming around happily to trying to get close to powerheads & bumping/scraping rocks to dead all within around 15mins.. I photographed the body but nothing to see.. Before I disposed of it I decided to check it out with a magnifying glass & that's when I saw two tiny not quite white spots/patches, I'm not sure what I would call them. Bear in mind this fish was on 1.25" long. Couple this with the chromis that died a few days ago with a small patch on one side & maybe something is beginning to show.
This morning I have 2 clowns & 1 Yellow Wrasse, all swimming & looking fine but there is another 2hrs or so before the death bell tolls. I wish I could catch them & put them in a qt..
I'd like to really thank everyone for the help so far & I'll post a little later with any further updates.. I'm not going to let this beat me..

A picture is worth a thousand words or so they say.

This is the fish that died at 9 30 this morning.. Every day it's the same time.. I don't see a mark of any kind on this one..

I am so sorry you are going through this.

Do you always lose one fish a day? Or some days is it more?

That's so weird.. I'm so sorry.. he was such a cutie.. it's so heart breaking especially when you can't figure out the problem..

I already lost 2 clowns over the last two days.. All I have left now are 1 more clown & a Yellow Coris Wrasse.. I don't look forward to mornings any more...

I bet.. I can feel your pain.. I brought in a $100 H.Tusk and didn't qt like a newbie lol and wiped my whole tank out almost.. it sucks losing them period.. I just wish they would show some kind of sign.. so before lights go out you don't notice any out of the norm with the fish? Like no scratching against rock? They don't stay in front of the power head? No heavy breathing? Like are they still eating? And I know you have checked your parameters..

Sorry you went through that.. Is it all ok now ? With mine I don't see anything wrong until about 15 mins before they die.. I can almost set the clock by it & I spend a lot of time each day looking at this tank... They eat no problem at around 8am then go to the powerhead at 9 15. By 9 30 they are dead..

I'll post some a little later.. Just heading out on the boat for a little R&R.. I'm told I need to do something different for a while :)
Sounds like great advice! Sorry I can't be more helpful!

When you get back, see if you can get some pictures of the other fish that are still alive. You're right, that clown looks completely normal. I was just thinking that something in your tank must be kicking on at 930 and it's leaking voltage- but apparently not. I want to know if any of your fish -at this point- have any abnormal marks on them: dark patches, white patches, red streaks, red dots - anything red that shouldn't be, redness around the gills, heavy breathing, hiding a lot.... I know we covered this before but I'm hoping something will have manifested by now that might help point us to a cause and a solution.

Have you done a fresh water dip on any of the fish you lost? Might be a good way to check if you have some type of parasite that is hatching at night or when lights first come on.
Really stumps me as to why it is only 1 fish each day.
