Hi, I need advice

I am loosing various lps corals.
I run a 700ltr mixed reef. Been running for a year now and is well stocked with corals and all growing well.

parameters have been stable for months at
Nitrate 10-20
Phosphate 0.03-0.07
Ca 450
Mg 1350-1400
Dkh 7.1

I use chaeto and gfo with occasional lanthanum chloride to control parameters. Salt is tropic Marin reef pro with a+ and k- additives.

over the past 2-3 months I’ve lost various lps

elgance
Red gonni
Green torch
Red torch
2 frog spawn
And now a green alvapora and green gonni

apart from the elegance they have been doing well and had grown. The gonni and Alva had grown so much I have fragged them a couple of times already and they were going really well.
I can’t see any pests on the corals and no sign of brown jelly. They retract progressively over a few days then die after about a week.
I have peppermint shrimp along with aptasia eating nudibranch. Black hermits and various snails including bumble bee snails to help reduce vermited snails (I have quite a few)

ive observed the corals day and night and don’t see anything bothering them.

any ideas what to look for?

Some photos of both healthy and not so healthy corals. Sorry for poor colour!

How long have your phosphates been at that level? LPS generally like it a little higher. I keep mine in the .15 - .2 range and everything stays nice and fat and healthy. My tank is only LPS and zoas.

Generally been this level for 6montha so I don’t think it’s that. It seems like I loose one lps colony at a time. Almost as if something is moving from one to another. If it was parameters I’d expect to see them all react similar at the same time especially the multiple gonni colonies that come from the same source.

Starvation is a slow killer for corals. They will struggle until they can't take it anymore. Chemical warfare can show results after 1 year, along with tap water saltmix changes.
I can't explain how every coral does not behave the same or need the same. Maybe someone else will chime in.

7dkh seems low to me.

Starvation is the first thing I thought of. Do you spot feed? Also, what kind of PAR do you have everything in? Could be a combo of several things.

Occasionally spot feed and par ranges from 100-200. I have some lps in higher light areas (250) that are fine. Most of the lps that died are around 150 par

There could be several reasons, flow, light, feeding, parameters, etc. lps can handle a tank with higher nitrates and phosphates and in my experience like it better. You can also raise your alk to help them out a bit, 7.8 is recommended. Do you have fish? - kali

duh varies between 7-8 averaging low 7's. I understand ops can take higher values generally. I run a mixed reef so need to balance parameters with the SPS which are doing quite well.
but again, given they all were fine and many are from same source and treated the same way and similar flow/ light conditions, its odd how it seems that I only loose one at a time....

just wish I could make sense of it. at this rate ill end up SPS dominant....
