I started a saltwater reef tank in November. Check my water regularly at fish store I frequent. ( like every other day) water has been perfect, besides a slight cyno outbreak haven't had any problems. Corals look great. I've lost a clownfish, damsel, yellow tang and today a copper and. My mandarin is only fish that seems to b ok. I have 25 lbs of live rock in 30 gal tank. I tried taking glass cover off, adjusting power heads, and I clean tank regularly. I don't know what I'm doing wrong and getting discouraged[emoji17]

Do you have any pictures of this fish before he died? Did he have any symptoms like heavy breathing or discoloration?

The fact that the mandarin is the remaining fish makes me suspect disease such as velvet or ich -- mandarins are often unaffected because of their very thick slime coat.

I'd also be interested in the answer to the above questions, and in addition any hiding from light? Physical symptoms like dots? Swimming in to power heads?

I'm betting on disease as well here. How quickly did they all die? All within a week? What was the last wet thing added before the deaths started and how soon before they started was the wet thing added?

Hope u got my pics. I'm kinda bad at this. He was near powerhead at top of tank. He's not an established fish, lost 3 last week. He and the mandarin were new

He did not come down from top of tank til lights were on.
This is sounding more and more like velvet to me... would love other feedback.

Hiding from light, hanging near powerheads (moves water through hills damaged by velvet so the fish doesn't suffocate), and fast deaths all carry the hallmark of velvet

That picture isn't very revealing, but I'm willing to bet on velvet in this case. Read this link Velvet (Amyloodinium ocellatum) it will give you a treatment protocol for the rest of your fish. I would advise swift action.. this isn't something that can be left for another day or procrastinated. I'm very sorry for your losses :(
