Losing my sps what to do?

Recently I been posting a lot about chemistry issues with my tank. The big concern was no longer needing to dose alk or calcium and my numbers standing still. On one of my frags I notice a small amount on the base of stn the frag at the time looked like it was still growing. Forward to a month and with the stop of dosing. This frag along with many others are now RTN.
Polyps are fully extended tips are light but from the base they are bleaching out.

Lost on what to do? I dipped stop RTN that didn’t slow down or stop anything I stopped running phosp-e and quantum lr nitrate remover. I stopped coral nutritio. Actively running carbon should I just give up?

Alkalinity SF - 8.6
Magnesium SF - 1500
Nitrate SF- 2
Phosphorus- 45

Did you do too much at once? Nothing there looks crazy. Leaving them alone might be your best bet if you have been messing with stuff a lot. Nobody wants to hear this, but it can take months for stressed acropora to heal, recolor and grow well.

Can you get a picture of the necrotic edge on one that is actively dying? (Put phone in underwater case or pull a frag out and put it in a clear bin; get an up close pic). I expect there is something else going on. Your Phos is obviously high at .13 but you’d see greenish tinged skeleton where it did fully let go and fuzzy tissue on the remaining specimens before your see aggressive recession from the base, IMO, if it was simply high Phos. I might have some further opinion with pics.

did you change your lights recently? is it a new tank?

I’m assuming the nitrate reducer is just a form of carbon dosing, which will cause stn on sps if you’re not feeding enough. I would do some 50%+ water changes and stop the carbon dosing. 0.13 po4 is not high for sps frags. It’s actually ideal.

this has been running with corals since the start of the year. But system completely is 2 years
It’s strange cause all my birdsnest are affected and a few others but caps, Milli are fine

How high were your nitrates?

Way back in Jan they were up to 8 that I got it down to .03-.10 steady with dosing.

I do have some pukani rock that I am associating the high level of phos. And rock started out just dry rock

Did your alk drop drastically at any point? I’ve seen birdsnest bleach from the base like that with a low alk incident. The mille’s and cap might just be a little more robust and handled a swing better?

My numbers have been stable from the start. I have been allowing it to lower itself slowly but it’s been at a stand still for a month and that been around 8.5

So, what do I do now? Since stopping everything more than a handful of frags are lost or slowly bleaching. Should I be concern this will spread to a few others? Do I dose my tank with a remedy? Change all my water? Can I even add more frags in? Cut my losses and give up on sps? I been searching and searching everywhere on what to do or where do I go from here?

It can take months for sps to recover and that’s “if” they recover. The best thing to do is a series of large water changes and go back to basics. You shouldn’t need a bunch of chemicals and media. Appropriate sized skimmer and water changes is all you should need. Maybe a small fuge or algae reactor.
