Could be a few different things... What is your:

Ph Level?
Temperature swing from AM to PM?
Ca levels?
Mg levels?
What type of T5's?
Size tank?

lights come on at 400 go out at 10

6 hours may not be enough light.

What size tank (dimensions) and what light are you using? I know T5's, but what types, how many watts, how old, etc.

*** EDIT, answered the question the same time I posted...

Possibly too much actinic and not enough daylight? What about flow?

Nutrient problems can also cause this. Are you using a skimmer? What kind is it? How often are you doing water changes and how much do you change?

might want to check your phosphate levels as well. i've seen high phosphates cause browning in sps before. its just one more thing to check off when going down the list. as posted before, i'm not sure if you're only running actinics with no daylight bulbs, but that could be a problem as well. sps dont like higher alk levels sometimes, but that usually causes bleaching of the tips. best to keep your alk in the 8-9 range imo, but i've also seen great looking tanks that run higher alk as well.

I would look at nutrients like everybody stated but also think about lengthening your photoperiod as well, don't over look that
